Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing clinicians the flexibility to manage their schedules while working from home. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Inner Fire Wellness Center, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to identify areas of need and develop tailored intervention strategies.
• Collaborating with colleagues to create and execute interdisciplinary care plans, facilitating effective communication during patient rounds and documentation practices.
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
• Providing case management services, ensuring referrals to community resources and collaboration with other health professionals as necessary.
• Completing timely and ethical documentation to satisfy department standards and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will engage a diverse group of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing unique challenges that may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. The collaborative nature of our practice allows you to work closely with clients and their families, providing them with tailored support during challenging times. The effective use of telehealth technology will further expand your reach, allowing you to connect with clients who may have previously faced barriers to access.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold one of the following licenses: LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, issued by the State of Texas. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with at least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Preferred Experience

We value experience that demonstrates a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques, particularly those focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or other evidence-based modalities. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be beneficial to streamline documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials.
