MindPath Care Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic, remote clinical team. Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to deliver care from the comfort of your home while still adhering to standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our telehealth platform utilizes secure technology to facilitate seamless and confidential interactions with clients, ensuring that they receive high-quality support without the need for in-person visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, delivering insights that inform treatment strategies.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that encompass their unique goals and therapeutic preferences, ensuring a tailored approach to mental wellness.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their mood disorders effectively.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs, and documenting these changes accurately in compliance with best practices.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for our clients, facilitating communication and shared understanding of treatment goals.
• Stay informed on the latest research and treatment modalities for mood disorders, enhancing your clinical practice and ensuring that clients benefit from contemporary approaches.
• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring transparency and adherence to ethical standards required in the mental health field.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to improve your skill set and contribute positively to the team's collaborative environment.
• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients, participating in efforts to reduce stigma associated with mood disorders in the broader community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique challenges and perspectives that enrich the therapeutic process. As a counselor, you will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes, fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Strong expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities effective for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
• Proven success in achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients facing mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds and experiences.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth counseling, particularly in therapeutic settings focused on mood disorders.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and their use in maintaining client documentation.
• Active participation in professional organizations relevant to mental health to foster ongoing learning and development.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
