Middle School Principal

The Board of Education is seeking an innovative, student-centered educational leader to serve as Principal for our Middle School serving students in grades 4-8. There are approximately 310 students. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence, positive school culture, student growth, and collaborative leadership.

Job Description & Qualifications:

• Provide visionary instructional leadership for grades 4-8
• Supervise and evaluate certified and non-certified staff
• Foster a positive and inclusive school climate focused on student achievement and social-emotional growth
• Oversee curriculum implementation, assessment practices, and data analysis
• Maintain high expectations for student conduct and attendance
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and community stakeholders
• Manage school operations, scheduling, budgeting, and facilities
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Support extracurricular activities, student events, and school programs
• Lead school safety, emergency preparedness, and crisis response efforts

Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or eligibility required

Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field

Minimum of five years successful teaching experience

Administrative experience preferred. Assistant Principal experience preferred.

Strong background in curriculum, instruction, and staff development.

Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Position Available: August 1, 2026 Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 Healthcare benefits begin when you begin!
