The Board of Education is seeking an innovative, student-centered educational leader to serve as Principal for our Middle School serving students in grades 4 8. There are approximately 310 students. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence, positive school culture, student growth, and collaborative leadership.

Job Description & Qualifications:

• Provide visionary instructional leadership for grades 4 8
• Supervise and evaluate certified and non-certified staff
• Foster a positive and inclusive school climate focused on student achievement and social-emotional growth
• Oversee curriculum implementation, assessment practices, and data analysis
• Maintain high expectations for student conduct and attendance
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and community stakeholders
• Manage school operations, scheduling, budgeting, and facilities
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Support extracurricular activities, student events, and school programs
• Lead school safety, emergency preparedness, and crisis response efforts
• Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or eligibility required
• Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field
• Minimum of five years successful teaching experience
• Administrative experience preferred. Assistant Principal experience preferred.
• Strong background in curriculum, instruction, and staff development.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Position Available: August 1, 2026

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
