Dispatch Manager

We are looking for an energetic team member to provide leadership for our moving crews and manage the daily operational aspects of the business. What We Offer Pay $50,000K annually with monthly bonuses Health, dental and vision insurance available Vacation 401(k) options Job Responsibilities Determine staffing requirements and facilitating the hiring process; coordinating employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of move crew Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory Lead mover/driver training; responsible for team development and motivation and corrective action programs Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all Department Of Transportation regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines Serve as the “on-call” contact outside of regular business hours Conduct safety spot checks during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution Develop and implement an employee recognition program All other duties as assigned by the General Manager Job Requirements Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred Driver’s license with a good driving record Willing to obtain a DOT Physical Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Job requires persistence in the face of obstacles. Commitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core values Physical stamina to assist with lifting/carrying 100 lbs. or more Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens Work is generally performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards; however, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds may be necessary.
