A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a full-time assignment from August 2026 to June 2027, working 35-37.5 hours per week. This unique role serves as a split position, with half your week spent at a special education preschool and the other half supporting an elementary school. Located near Ashland, MO, you’ll collaborate with educational teams to create meaningful changes for young learners.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Eligible for Missouri state certification/licensure
• School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes, diverse caseloads, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for working with preschool and elementary-aged children, including students with special needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools and observations
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address IEP goals, collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers
• Provide direct, evidence-based interventions, both individually and in small groups
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student success
