Role Description The Human Resources Business Partner is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Metairie, LA, supporting client organizations with strategic and operational HR guidance. This role collaborates with business leaders to understand workforce needs, advise on HR policies, and align people strategies with organizational goals. Daily responsibilities include managing employee relations, conducting investigations, providing performance and coaching support, and assisting with workforce planning and organizational changes. The HR Business Partner will coordinate with payroll and benefits teams, support compliance with federal and state employment laws, and contribute to risk management and workplace safety initiatives. The role also involves developing and implementing HR programs, analyzing HR metrics, and delivering training on topics such as compliance, performance management, and workplace culture. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to provide strategic HR partnership, including workforce planning, organizational development, and HR program implementation. Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, and performance coaching across diverse employee populations. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices in risk management and workplace safety. Proficiency in HR operations such as payroll coordination, benefits administration, onboarding, and HRIS or related systems. Excellent communication, consulting, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence and support leaders and employees. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including experience using HR data and metrics to inform decisions and recommendations. Ability to work on‑site in Metairie, LA, manage multiple priorities, and support clients in fast‑paced, multi‑industry environments. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
