Vacancy Notice

The Pocono Mountain School District wishes to inform you of the following posted vacancy for the 2026-2027 school year:

• Athletic Director
• West High School

The selected candidiate will provide strong evidence of organization, be able to demonstate coordination and supervision of all phases of the Pocono Mountain School District's interscholastic athletic programs, and successfully complete a series of interviews along with meeting all local requirements.


Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Certificate ~ Health & Physical Education, preferred
• Administrative Certificate and/or Sports Management Certificate, preferred
• Prior varsity coaching experience, preferred

Terms of Employment:

• As per Negotiated Contract (Stipend Compensation for Additional Days Worked)

The successful candidate will be required to provide the following documents: Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check, Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check, Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, and the Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.
