BG Staffing is currently seeking a Apartment Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Franklin, TN 37064 .

Location: Franklin, TN 37064

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

Job Summary

BG Staffing is looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day property maintenance operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. The right candidate will help ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service to residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance service requests and work orders promptly.
Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
Assist with apartment turns, including repairs, painting touch-ups, and unit preparation.
Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment as needed.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Keep accurate records of completed work and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience in apartment, residential, commercial, or multifamily settings preferred.
Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
HVAC certification is a plus.
Reliable transportation preferred.
