Senior Loan Processor

Review and analyze borrowers’ credit, employment, income, and assets before underwriting submission Assemble complete loan packages in proper underwriting order Verify required documentation and complete loan checklists Verify application completeness and accuracy and identify potential underwriting issues Prepare loan approval summaries, Forms 1008 and 1003, and verify document accuracy Communicate with loan originators, customers, and underwriters to obtain required documentation Review loans for compliance with mortgage regulations and prepare required disclosures Obtain property surveys, flood certificates, title commitments, and payoff information from vendors Verify vendor orders, invoices, and applicant e-file documentation Manage the loan pipeline and submit reports within turnaround times Assist with loan setup Document loan-application communications in the conversation log Train and help supervise new loan processors and other processing personnel Assist closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing with clearing investor suspense items Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience Working knowledge of RESPA regulations General knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements Knowledge of loan documents preferred Excellent math and analytical skills Excellent communication skills Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Availability to work varying hours and overtime if needed Encompass experience Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in residential mortgage processing, including compliance with RESPA regulations and proficiency in Encompass software. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for managing loan documentation and ensuring accuracy throughout the underwriting process.
