Senior Credit Analyst

Senior Credit AnalystThis position is responsible for analysis and monitoring the financial condition and credit worthiness of individuals and businesses applying for credit by using historical financial analysis and cash flow projections.Major duties and responsibilities include:Analyzing all relevant loan data on new, renewal and existing loansPreparing thorough and concise memos, spreadsheets, reports, summaries and opinions for Loan OfficersManaging the bank's exposure to identified risks and recommending appropriate structure for transactionsOverseeing and managing financial information filesEstablishing, reviewing and updating new and existing loan filesProviding technical advice and assistance to Loan OfficersPerforming credit inquiriesAdditional duties include:Effectively communicating with customers, loan officers, and bank managementGenerating solutions to problems and suggesting alternative solutionsPerforming as a top contributor in bank-wide projectsInitiating and leading bank-wide projectsDressing professionallyEmployee specifications include:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related fieldMinimum 5 years of credit analysis experienceSpecific area of underwriting expertise in one or more areas of lendingExcellent financial analytical abilitiesAdvanced proficiency in ExcelAbility to structure and underwrite larger, more complex transactionsOutstanding interpersonal, technical, problem solving, and written communication skillsDemonstrates initiative, judgment/discernment and self motivation to work with minimal supervisionDemonstrates resourcefulness and concern for quality by understanding systems and processes and suggesting changes when necessary to increase overall efficiencyDemonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to time lines and schedules
