Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - Rochester, New York

This travel nursing assignment places you in a dynamic med surg float pool environment, letting you broaden your experience across various Telemetry units. You'll work closely with different healthcare teams, embracing diverse leadership styles and workplace practices. This hands-on exposure is a powerful way to expand your resume, boost clinical problem-solving abilities, and adapt to new charting systems such as EPIC.


Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12 hours
• 36 hours per week
• Includes 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Must work at least one holiday during contract
• 16-week contract

Qualifications:

• Active NY RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year recent acute med surg/tele experience
• For non-U.S. candidates: 2 years of recent US-based experience required
• Preferred: 2 years recent acute med surg/tele experience
• Must live more than 50 miles from assignment location
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in multiple med surg and telemetry units
• Float between units based on the hospital's needs
• Accurately document patient information using EPIC
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain adaptability and professionalism across varied clinical settings
