Travel Registered Telemetry Unit Nurse | Fairport, New York

This role places you in a 36-bed acute care unit dedicated to elderly patients and those needing alternate levels of care. As you care for diverse patients, you'll learn from a variety of clinical practices, expand your adaptability, and collaborate with knowledgeable healthcare professionals. Exposure to new workplace methods and leadership styles will enhance your clinical resume and make you a more versatile, in-demand nurse.


Shifts & Schedule:

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Options for 36 and 48 hours per week
• 1 weekend shift per week OR 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Must work at least 1 holiday during each 16-week contract
• Flexibility per facility needs; block booking possible but not guaranteed

Qualifications:

• Active NY RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent experience in acute med/surg/tele, 2 years preferred
• Non-U.S. candidates require 2 years U.S. work experience
• Proficiency with EPIC charting is an advantage
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate nursing care on an acute care of elderly/telemetry unit
• Perform thorough monitoring, medication administration, and care planning
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to shifting patient needs and maintain best practices in compliance and documentation
