Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Admissions Director to lead our patient intake and enrollment processes within a dynamic healthcare environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire admissions operation, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing staff, and delivering exceptional customer service to patients and their families. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the admissions team to ensure smooth patient intake, registration, and scheduling processes.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, JCAHO standards, health regulation policies, and compliance requirements across all operations.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient flow within acute care or dental clinics, supporting efficient utilization of resources.

• Implement and monitor patient management software systems for appointment scheduling, patient tracking, and data entry accuracy.

• Develop training programs for staff on medical terminology, medical administrative support procedures, and customer service excellence.

• Handle human resources functions such as staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and managing team dynamics within a healthcare practice setting.

• Maintain excellent communication with patients regarding Admissions criteria, insurance information, and healthcare procedures to foster trust and satisfaction.

• Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct while reflecting and reinforcing Everwell's values and commitment to the Code of Conduct.

Skills

• Extensive experience in medical office management

• Strong supervisory skills with proven ability to manage teams effectively in a healthcare setting.

• Knowledge of healthcare management practices including HIPAA compliance, health regulation policies, and managed care protocols.

• Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, billing processes, and revenue cycle optimization.

• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records handling, and electronic health record systems for accurate documentation.

• Excellent managerial communication skills paired with customer service orientation to support positive patient experiences.

• Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments involving acute care while ensuring operational efficiency.

• Experience with office management tools such as Microsoft Office for reporting and administrative tasks.

• Understanding of healthcare practice management principles including utilization management and JCAHO standards.
