Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license required
• IVP Fingerprint Card necessary for school-based positions
• Experience with pediatric populations or school settings preferred
• Comfort working with students with a range of needs, including those requiring significant support
• Ability to travel between campus locations as part of an itinerant assignment
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students according to IEP goals and established therapy plans
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings
• Work closely with students, families, and educational staff to enhance student outcomes
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with school, district, and federal requirements
• Engage with a collaborative special education team, offering consultation and training as needed
