This 0.6 FTE itinerant position involves collaborating with staff at multiple sites, providing vital OT services to students with mild to severe needs.

Your skills will help to empower children to achieve their fullest potential by enhancing participation in school activities and routines. You’ll adapt strategies and environments to facilitate functional independence, working closely with other professionals and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and active Occupational Therapy license
• Preferred: Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience supporting children in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites and adapt to varied needs
• IVP Fingerprint Card required prior to start

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as indicated in IEPs
• Travel between schools within the district to serve assigned caseload
• Conduct evaluations, provide therapy sessions, and collaborate on goal-setting
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure carryover of interventions
• Complete documentation and progress reports in a timely, organized manner
• Participate in IEP meetings as an engaged team member
• Address a range of student needs from mild to severe, implementing creative, individualized interventions
