Financial Controller

Regenified was founded in 2022 by the pioneers of regenerative agriculture. Our purpose is to accelerate the adoption and impact of regenerative agriculture by translating data and intelligence into trusted, unified enablers that power a regenerative economy. Our standards have been approved by the largest grocery chains in the world, and we are actively verifying large acres of farmland producing cereals, beef, poultry, eggs, and fresh produce. The Role This role runs the day to day accounting for Regenified across our US and UK entities. It covers the monthly close, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll coordination, and the reporting that leadership uses to make decisions. The company is small and the finance function is still being built, so the work is broad and hands on. You will not be boxed into one lane. What You’ll Do Run the monthly close across both entities, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and accurate financial statements Own Accounts Receivable end to end: invoicing, collections, and keeping aging under control Process Accounts Payable, run payment cycles, and manage vendor queries Coordinate payroll through Deel and make sure it lands accurately and on time in both jurisdictions Keep QuickBooks clean and current, including chart of accounts maintenance and transaction coding Administer expense management in Ramp, chasing receipts, coding, and policy compliance Produce monthly management reporting and variance analysis against budget Support the budgeting and re-forecasting cycle with reliable actuals and clear inputs Prepare schedules and workpapers for external tax advisors and auditors Support statutory and compliance filings in the US and UK Take on ad hoc analysis and finance projects as they come up, such as system improvements, pricing or cost analysis, and audit preparation What You’ll Bring Active CPA license QuickBooks Online experience, ideally in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment 5+ years in an accounting role with full ownership of close and reconciliations Experience and confidence in running collections Ability to work without established process and to build process where it is missing Clear written communication with non-finance colleagues Competence with AI tools in day to day work Useful but not required: exposure to agriculture, food and beverage, or professional services Why You’ll Love it Here Make a Difference: Your work supports the producers rebuilding soil health and the land they farm. Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Base salary of $65,000 to $80,000 based on experience, unlimited PTO, and 100% premium coverage for medical, dental, and vision, with partial coverage for dependents.
