Medical Billing Specialist

Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist Location: Lake Mary, FL - 100% Onsite Pay Range: $25/hr on W2 Job Details: Manage the processing of client information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory policies. Coordinate insurance verification and ensure clients understand their co-pay responsibilities. Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims to facilitate timely payments. Enter and verify client data accurately in the billing system. Prepare and submit claims electronically and via paper as needed, correcting and resubmitting rejected claims. What's Needed? Experience working with front-end rejections in medical billing. Previous experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing is preferred. Strong understanding of HIPAA and PHI regulations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and team members.
