Job Summary
Programs, sets-up, and operates CNC mills w/ some instruction to perform various machining functions
Functions
Reads and interprets blueprints and related technical data
Program (and/or loading existing programs into) machine control w/ some instruction
Prepares, pre-sets, and installs most all required tooling w/ some instruction
Can set required work piece fixtures w/ some instruction
Loads/unloads and inspects production parts
Adjusts machine controls to maintain or correct part tolerances
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Experience and skilled in machining techniques
Knowledge of CNC controls and programming
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
