Senior Category Space Manager

DescriptionKforce has a client in Bellevue, WA that is seeking a Senior Category Space Manager.Responsibilities* Build a strong relationship with the retailer as trusted Category Space advisor across all areas of the Beer business* Use space planning software to effectively merchandise the beer department according to category and retailer strategy, determined in tandem with the division's Category Manager* Spearhead the Spring and Fall reset process with the drawing team and facilitate questions and problems that arise throughout the project* Execute store visits and physical resets alongside the retailer and other external partners* Synthesize learnings from various sources to create clear and impactful selling stories in a visually appealing manner using PowerPoint* Partner with Sales team to engage external retailer buying team in defined territories with goal of identifying opportunities to grow the Beer categoryRequirements* Bachelor's degree* Strong passion for the Beer industry* Shelf management and planogram creation experience (JDA, Apollo, etc.)* Moderate to Advanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel to manipulate and organize data* Moderate to Advanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint to organize and visualize the story line for presentations* Strong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:* Ability to translate findings and recommendations into a concise and effective selling story* Ability to confidently present insights, opportunities and recommendations to internal or external stakeholders in a persuasive manner* Category Management or Sales experience in consumer-packaged goods industry* Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures (Circana, Nielsen, etc.)* Strong familiarity with shopper panel information data, software and measures (Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, Retailer Loyalty data, etc.)* Experience with dash boarding software such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, or SpotfireJob TypeContractCompensation30 - $32
