Senior Global Category Manager

It requires strong business judgment, technical acumen, and the ability to drive results through cross-functional influence.Key job responsibilities1. Supply and/or Capacity agreement - Negotiate supply agreement (i.e. capacity reservation agreement) to ensure supply continuity, mitigate risk, and support AWS growth.2. QBR and Escalation - Lead supplier QBRs tracking performance across delivery, quality, cost, and roadmap; deliver weekly project updates, monthly executive briefings, and own escalations to resolution.3. Sourcing Strategy - Develop sourcing strategies while tracking industry trends and aligning supplier roadmaps to AWS strategic initiatives.4. Cost - Own component cost management, driving year-over-year reductions in NRE, Capex and BOM+MVA. Manage PPV, spot market buy budget and variance analysis for financial planning.5. Contract - Negotiate complex supplier agreements and SOWs. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
