Supervisor (Floating) - 2nd shift

OVERVIEW

Supervisor of Distribution II are directly accountable for providing service to the retail stores by coordinating all aspects of operational responsibilities through the distribution center. Position impacts company profitability through maximizing productivity, efficiencies, and quality through the distribution center operations. Position is responsible for making work flow decisions in the absence of a manager. Job Duties and Responsibilities Forecasting & responding to production volume and manpower needs in order to maximize productivity and ensure quality. Training, developing & supervising non-exempt associates. Promoting and maintaining high associate morale & safety. Coaching and counseling associate performance and attendance issues. Maintain established through-put standards. Meet budget goals and productivity standards. Developing and implementing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and safety of operations. Maintaining the security of all merchandise and capital equipment in assigned departments. Assignment of special projects that relate to the business and/or operations in order to expand knowledge of facility or company.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience 3-5 years experience in Distribution Center management Distribution systems preferred Retail Experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Dick's Sporting Goods
