Lead Project Manager(Transportation)

Account Manager | US Requirement I Talent Acquisition | Building High-Impact Teams Location: Minnesota, Minneapolis Rate: $70/hr on c2c Client: CHS Job Mode: Hybrid Duration: Contract Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of technology implementation projects in the Transportation and Supply Chain domain. Develop and manage detailed project plans using hybrid methodologies, tracking progress, scope, and budget. Coordinate multiple product teams and project streams to ensure delivery alignment across business units. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage timelines, risks, and dependencies. Prepare and deliver clear, concise project briefings and status updates to senior leadership. Drive issue resolution and remove obstacles that could impact schedule or quality. Track and report on key project metrics including schedule, budget, and resource utilization. Support continuous improvement by evaluating delivery methodology and identifying areas for optimization. Mentor and coach junior project managers or coordinators. Required Qualifications Proven record leading at least two (2) large-scale technology implementations within Supply Chain, S&OP, or Transportation systems with a minimum team size of 10+ and budgets exceeding $2M. 10+ years of experience in professional services consulting and/or IT program or project management. Strong background in managing projects within matrixed organizations and coordinating multiple product teams. Experience developing and maintaining project dashboards, financial tracking, and performance metrics. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications Experience managing third-party vendors and hybrid delivery teams (full-time and contract). Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, ERP systems, and information security. Skilled in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or SAP Focused Build. Ability to influence without direct authority and navigate ambiguity with composure. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Top Qualities for Success Proven experience leading Transportation or Supply Chain technology implementations. Skilled in executive-level briefings and clear communication of project status and timelines. Confident working across multiple product teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
