This position applies advanced software engineering principles and SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The Senior Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, mentors junior developers, and ensures software solutions meet stringent technical, functional, and security requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead design and implementation of complex software featuresArchitect technical solutions that align with system design principlesMentor and guide less experienced engineersConduct thorough code reviews ensuring quality and security standardsImplement and optimize DevSecOps automationDesign and develop scalable microservices architecturesLead technical discussions and architecture decisionsTroubleshoot complex technical issues across the stackParticipate in and contribute to SAFe Program-level activitiesSupport third-party code reviews and security assessmentsRequired Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of software development experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution)Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.)Deep understanding of microservices, containerization, and orchestrationExtensive experience with DevSecOps practices and toolchainsStrong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principlesExperience with distributed systems and message queuing (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ)Proficiency in database technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch)Demonstrated ability to lead technical implementationsActive TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI PolygraphMust be U.S. citizenMust be located in NCR or San Antonio areaThe salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
