Marketing Analyst

Marketing Assistant/Analyst Job Summary Supports marketing performance reporting, data analysis, dashboard development, and ad hoc business analysis for acquisition marketing programs. This role requires strong Excel skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities Build, maintain, and quality-check recurring marketing performance reports and Excel or Power BI dashboards. Analyze campaign, lead, application, enrollment, conversion, and cost performance. Reconcile data across marketing and operational sources, investigating discrepancies, missing data, broken feeds, and unexpected performance changes. Respond to ad hoc business questions by defining analytical approaches, researching available data, documenting assumptions, and communicating findings clearly. Maintain metric definitions, business rules, procedures, and reporting documentation. Identify opportunities to standardize and automate manual reporting processes. Collaborate with marketing strategists, analytics partners, agencies, sales, operations, and technology teams. Learn unfamiliar systems and processes, ask targeted questions, and independently work toward solutions with appropriate guidance. Requirements Bachelor s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Marketing Analytics, or another quantitative field. Equivalent education and relevant analytical experience may be considered. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, formulas, data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality checks. Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills. Ability to investigate ambiguous questions, test assumptions, and identify root causes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office. Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other data-querying tools is preferred. Experience with marketing analytics, campaign measurement, lead-funnel metrics, attribution, or executive performance reporting is preferred. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems, healthcare or insurance data, data governance, or reporting automation is preferred. Successful completion of a practical Excel and data-analysis assessment and an analytical reasoning or case exercise.
