We are looking for a personable and attentive Customer Service Representative to support guest interactions during a busy event in Grand Junction, Colorado. This is a Contract position suited for someone who stays calm in a lively setting, enjoys helping people, and can keep visitor movement organized throughout the day. The role combines front-line customer support, event entry coordination, and on-site assistance to help create a smooth and welcoming experience for attendees.

Responsibilities:

• Guide guests as they arrive and direct them to the correct event areas in a friendly and detail-focused manner.

• Oversee attendee flow in high-traffic spaces to help maintain orderly movement and a positive on-site experience.

• Use a provided tablet to check tickets and record visitor details accurately at entry points.

• Respond to attendee questions promptly and provide clear information about event logistics, locations, and services.

• Keep event materials such as pricing information and layout documents stocked and ready for guest use.

• Monitor public-facing areas throughout the shift and address minor service issues before they affect the attendee experience.

• Remain active on the event floor for extended periods, using breaks as available while maintaining coverage needs.

• Previous customer service experience, ideally in hospitality, events, retail, or call center environments.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to assist a high volume of visitors effectively.
• Comfortable using an iPad or similar device for check-in and registration tasks.
• Ability to stay organized and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality aligned with event schedules.
• Neat business-casual presentation, including slacks and a well-presented shirt.
• Ability to stand and move throughout most of the workday.
