Discover a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year! Positions are available for dedicated professionals eager to provide exceptional support and instruction in a dynamic, collaborative school environment. Openings are available for three full-time educators, including: an elementary self-contained teacher, a middle or high school inclusion teacher, and an elementary behavior support teacher, each offering the chance to impact learners at different developmental stages.
What We're Looking For:
- Certified or eligible for certification as a Special Education Teacher.
- Experience with self-contained, inclusion, or behavioral support programs preferred.
- Strong ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Skilled in differentiated instruction and classroom management.
- Adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about helping every student succeed.
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction tailored to students’ learning needs.
- Design and implement effective IEPs, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff to foster inclusive learning environments.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage and support students with diverse abilities.
- Maintain organized records and document student progress to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents or guardians regarding student development.
This is a full-time contract position (35 hours per week) offering the chance to work in a supportive educational community with access to ongoing professional resources.
