Our Adult Residential Program provides supportive group homes for adults with developmental disabilities, guided by a person-centered, team-based approach. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Care Staff to join our residential team. In this role, you will provide hands-on support to adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, implement individualized support plans, and promote independence, dignity, and community involvement. Location: North Hills Full-Time, Part-Time and Relief positions available Key Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to residents by implementing individualized service plans (ISPs) and promoting social, emotional, physical, and personal well-being Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, housekeeping, budgeting, shopping, and other independent living skills Administer and monitor medications, follow medical orders, assist with health-related needs, and maintain accurate documentation and daily charting Transport and accompany residents to community activities, medical appointments, and other scheduled outings Support individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviors, utilizing approved crisis intervention techniques and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment Serve as a positive role model by communicating professionally with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, while participating in required trainings, meetings, and program activities Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record Minimum 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related neurodivergent populations Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment Benefits (30+ hours per week) Help Group offers wonderful training opportunities, a supportive, professional work environment, and great benefits, including: $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Insurance plans for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance - options for 100% employer sponsored plans 403b Retirement Plan 529 College Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Account Vacation and Sick Leave Benefit Hub -Employee Rewards and Incentives Pet Insurance Learn more about our Residential Programs here . The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
