Landscape Crew MemberHouston, TX 77034OverviewPosition Type: Part-Time Job Shift: Days Education Level: High School Diploma/GEDDescriptionJOB PURPOSE: Responsible for preparing and maintaining landscape areas per contract specifications.QualificationsESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:20% - Mow grass using power mowers.20% - Trim and edge using power weed eater.5% - Water lawns, trees, and plants using portable sprinkler system, hose5% - Haul and/or spread topsoil, mulch, straw or pea gravel in lawns or beds.15% - Pick up trash and debris by hand or using a poker stick, rake or broom. Bag and dispose of trash.15% - Operate blower to clean sidewalks and driveway.5% - Clear beds for planting and mulching.*Perform additional labor as needed for special projects or improvements100% - Demonstrate exceptional customer service, in everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client first to support our mission to "Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities."ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.EXPERIENCE: Preferred, but not required; will train if program needs allow.ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.LICENSES: None required. Valid Driver's License a plus.VEHICLE: None required. Must be able to get to and from work as scheduled.OTHER: Must be available and willing to work assigned schedules.
