Data Center Technician - Afton, TX

As a Data Center Technician, you will support the hardware and infrastructure operations of CoreWeave's data centers, ensuring availability and reliability through hands‑on diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of mission‑critical systems. What You'll Do Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and perform physical repairs Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware Assemble, install, and maintain equipment; manage inventory Respond to on‑site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while on‑call Travel up to 10% of the time to other data center locations as required What You Need Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly Working knowledge of Linux operating systems Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces, including under‑floor areas or on ladders Ability to perform fine motor skills tasks including handling small hardware components and cables Availability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 environment, including rotating on‑call shifts Experience in data center environments Nice to Have Experience with computer networking Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS Associate's degree or equivalent experience in an IT‑related field Base salary $65,000–$83,000, discretionary bonus, equity awards, comprehensive benefits including 100% company‑paid medical/dental/vision, company‑paid life insurance, HSA/FSA, 401(k) with employer match, flexible PTO, catered lunch at office and data center locations #J-18808-Ljbffr
