Solderer - Utica, NY
$16.50/hr.+ DOE Role and Responsibilities
- Work from process instructions, quality standard instructions, and manufacturing standard instructions to inspect required quality standards (i.e., proper component orientation/placement, masking, soldering, etc.).
- Ability to perform hand soldering of surface mount parts or through-hole parts on electronic components.
- Verify configuration of product to ensure conformity to the most recent revision.
- Maintain required records.
- Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to ensure high-quality, defect free connections.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
- Experienced with IPC-A-610 Standards and J-STD Standards
- Dexterity & Vision: Steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination for handling small components.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in soldering techniques, ability to read schematics, and knowledge of electronic components.
- Soldering experience, not just soldering wires
