Overview This posting is for physicians interested in establishing or transitioning into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity, while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. This is not an employed physician position. Physicians may establish or transition a practice in a preferred market, subject to state licensure and applicable regulatory requirements. The physician governs clinical operations, clinical decisions, and sets patient care policies. MedCBO does not direct patient care. About MedCBO MedCBO is a healthcare administrative services organization that supports physicians in operating independent medical practices across multiple U.S. markets. MedCBO’s service model is structured to align with corporate practice of medicine (CPOM) principles. Physicians maintain ownership and clinical control of their medical entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical administrative and operational support. MedCBO provides non‑clinical services, including: Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support EHR, technology platform, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination Accounting, financial reporting, and practice financial infrastructure HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support Supply chain and vendor coordination Physicians retain full clinical authority, decision‑making, and ownership of the medical practice. Final legal structure and regulatory compliance depend on the specific state and are established in coordination with licensed legal counsel. Opportunity Description We work with physicians seeking to: Start a new private practice Transition from employment to ownership Convert an existing practice to a supported model Relocate and establish a practice in a new market MedCBO supports administrative and operational functions while the physician independently operates the medical practice. Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope Develop professional relationships within the medical community. MedCBO coordinates payer credentialing with physician participation as required. Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed. Physicians operate their own medical practice entity and are not employees of MedCBO. MedCBO provides administrative support services only. Practice performance, revenue, and income depend on physician decisions, clinical activity, and market conditions. Practices are commonly established using standard medical practice financing programs; specific qualifications and terms are determined by the lending institution. MedCBO assists physicians in navigating financing options. MedCBO does not employ physicians and does not provide guaranteed income.
