Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

The Outpatient RN CAP 1 is an entry-level registered nurse role within a Clinical Advancement Program, responsible for delivering and coordinating patient care in a Hemodialysis setting.

They perform assessments, develop care plans, administer treatments, and monitor patient responses, adjusting as needed.

They collaborate with the healthcare team, provide patient and family education, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Additional duties include medication administration, emergency response, laboratory procedures, and staff training.

The role involves physical activities such as lifting and moving patients and equipment, with a work environment typical of healthcare facilities.

Supervision may be provided for experienced staff or team leaders, with requirements including nursing licensure, CPR certification, and nephrology experience preferred.

Ideal candidates have less than 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on chronic or acute hemodialysis.
