Accounts Payable Clerk

Regal Car Sales & Credit is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our seven-person accounting team. This is a rare opportunity to join a stable, established company with a positive work environment and long-term employees.

Our accounting team works closely together, assists one another, and takes a team approach to solving problems. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, honest, dependable, and comfortable communicating with employees and managers throughout the company.

Our corporate office is conveniently located near the Broken Arrow Expressway and Highway 169 in Tulsa.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounts payable duties
• Enter and post vendor invoices accurately
• Prepare and issue checks
• Reconcile company credit card statements
• Review invoices and supporting documentation
• Communicate with vendors and store managers regarding invoices and payments
• Research and resolve accounts payable discrepancies
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records
• Assist other members of the accounting department as needed

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with departments throughout the organization
• Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
• Honest, dependable, and able to handle confidential information
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus but not required
