Sandvik Coromant Finland Oy is responsible for the sales and marketing of Sandvik Coromant products and services in Finland and the Baltic countries. Well-known international machine manufacturers and their subcontractors are important customers for us in Finland.

We are now looking for an Application Specialist to join our team in Southern Finland to support our customers' production development and business growth. The role involves working from a home office during the summer and includes travel to customers within the country.

Your responsibilities

As an Application Specialist, you will be responsible for the implementation and value maximization of the technical solutions we offer to our customers. You will work closely with sales and play a key role in the development of both existing and new customer relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing technical solutions and supporting sales to customers and resellers
• Developing the efficiency of customer production processes and analyzing technical needs
• Driving projects from idea to order
• Actively working with sales and customer projects
• Building customer relationships at both production and management levels
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Planning and implementing training for customers and partners
• Solving technical problems and continuous development work together with customers and the organization

What we expect from you

• Experience in metal cutting (e.g., turning, milling, drilling)
• Several years of experience in technical specialist roles or similar positions
• Good understanding of the manufacturing industry and production processes
• Experience in project work and working in a customer interface
• Ability to identify customer needs and build value-adding solutions
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Fluent English and excellent Finnish

Additionally, we value:
