# About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled PropTech Developer to design, build, and scale innovative digital solutions for the real estate industry. You will work at the intersection of property, data, and technology—developing platforms that streamline transactions, enhance asset management, and improve user experiences for buyers, sellers, and operators. This is a fully remote role requiring strong technical expertise, product thinking, and the ability to collaborate across distributed teams. # Key Responsibilities * Design and develop scalable PropTech applications, including property management systems, listing platforms, and transaction tools * Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and data pipelines connecting real estate platforms, CRMs, and third-party services * Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions * Optimize system performance, security, and reliability across cloud environments * Implement data-driven features such as property analytics, valuation models, or smart search functionality * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code * Stay current with PropTech trends, emerging technologies, and real estate market dynamics # Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) * 1+ year of software development experience (preferably in PropTech, FinTech, or marketplaces) * Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java) * Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue) and/or backend frameworks (Node.js, Django, Spring) * Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) * Experience working in remote, agile development environments # Preferred Qualifications * Experience with real estate data systems (MLS integrations, property datasets, geospatial data) * Knowledge of GIS tools or mapping technologies * Exposure to AI/ML applications in real estate (pricing models, recommendations, forecasting) * Understanding of real estate workflows (leasing, transactions, asset management) * Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) # Key Competencies * Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking * Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting * Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively * Product-oriented mindset with attention to user experience # What We Offer * Fully remote work environment with flexible hours * Competitive salary and equity options * Opportunity to shape next-generation real estate technology * Collaborative, fast-paced, and innovation-driven culture
