Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• RRT certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• PALS certification
• More than 2 years of experience
• Experience working in an adult ICU
• Experience treating pediatric patients in the ER, including intubation and mechanical ventilation
• Experience in a level 1 nursery, including high risk deliveries and participation on the resuscitation team
• Experience working on Med Surg floors
• Experience with Drager V500 ventilators, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Airvo high flow oxygen units, neopuff, and Ram cannula
• Experience with EPIC documentation system

• Shift hours: 1900-0700
• Call requirement: no
• Float requirement: RT floats to all areas of the hospital
• Weekend hours: 36
