Job Description
Are you an experienced Medical Billing/Collection Representative looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Do you want the chance to advance your career in Medical Billing/Collection by joining a rapidly growing company? If you answered “yes" to any of these questions – this is the position for you!
Daily Responsibilities:
• Primarily be speaking with insurance payers but at times will call patients to collect
• Handle all forms of collection for all dollar amounts
• Insurance follow up and collections
• May do some payment posting and charge entry at times to help cover PTO but majority of the workload will be medical B&C, handling appeals and denials with payers
Hours for this Position:
The Medical Billing/Collection Rep will work from 8am through 5pm

• 2 years of medical billing and collections
• Self-starter and self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Good problem-solver and researcher
• Extremely detailed and able to document all transactions in the notes in their system
• Must be very strong in Excel
