Job Description:
A Records Administrator supports aircraft maintenance operations by reviewing incoming documentation and ensuring all maintenance forms are accurate, complete, and properly identified. They verify that all paperwork matches system records and meets regulatory and company standards. This role involves working extensively within Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, OneNote, and file explorer, to organize and manage records. The administrator is responsible for documenting information exactly as entered by technicians, maintaining strict accuracy and attention to detail. They also ensure all records are filed correctly and easily retrievable for audits or inspections. Overall, the position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance and supporting efficient maintenance operations.
Day to Day:
- Enters and/or verifies information from maintenance documents (discrepancies, corrective actions) into the computerized maintenance tracking system
- Verifies legibility and indexes each page of the digital maintenance documents
- Matches original documents and verifies legibility of maintenance documents scanned into Onbase, and forwards completed work order to Library
- Assists the supervisor with additional duties as needed
