Tax Accountant

To ensure tax compliance and planning, the full-time remote Georgia Licensed Tax Accountant will prepare federal and state income tax returns, manage tax provisions, and support audits while collaborating with management and external auditors. Key responsibilities Prepares federal and state income and franchise tax returns, estimated payments, and extension calculations Gathers documentation for the company's income tax provision and assists in tax audits Researches tax laws and monitors legislative changes affecting compliance and planning Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or related field 5+ years of federal and multi-state corporate income tax experience Experience with OneSource or other tax compliance software Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master of Business Taxation (MBT) certification Knowledge of FASB ASC 740 and GAAP accounting principles
