Job Summary A busy and growing legal office in Shreveport, LA is seeking a dependable Legal Support Clerk for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an organized administrative professional with 1-2 years of experience who enjoys supporting legal teams, managing case information, tracking important deadlines, and keeping documentation accurate and current. The Legal Support Clerk will work in a fast‑paced, professional office environment where reliability, confidentiality, accuracy, and teamwork are highly valued. Key Responsibilities Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files, case documents, records, and supporting materials. Request, track, and follow up on medical records, documentation, and missing case information. Schedule and calendar court dates, appointments, deadlines, and other time‑sensitive items. Prepare correspondence and legal‑related documents using Microsoft Word. Enter, update, and manage case information in databases, spreadsheets, and office systems. Provide administrative support to attorneys and office staff while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Compensation and Benefits $16.00‑$18.00 per hour, depending on experience. Annual equivalent of $33,280‑$37,440. Direct hire opportunity. Monday‑Friday schedule. Stable work environment with a supportive team.
