About the Role:

Sunset Care Homes LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aide to join our caring team in Virginia Beach, VA. The current 32-40 hour per week shift is 3p-11p.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in resident condition to nursing staff

Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents to prevent pressure injuries

Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to ensure proper nutrition

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents

Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families

Document resident care activities accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Requirements:

Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification, or HHA, pr PCA, in the state of Virginia

Previous experience in a residential care, long-term care, or assisted living setting a plus

Strong understanding of patient care, safety, and infection control procedures

Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with physical mobility needs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff

Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for elder care

Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
