Our ideal candidate is smart, energetic, driven, competitive, hard-working, and wants to join a great team that wants to win and sell the best solutions we can to meet our customers’ needs. **Our Vision*** Robert Reiser & Co. will serve the food industry and other selected markets by selling and supporting equipment that provides solutions to customer needs.* Every customer contact will result in an improved relationship with that customer.* We will continuously strive to strengthen our supplier partnerships.* We will encourage our fellow employees to reach their potential.* Therefore, we will earn a fair profit and ensure our future.**Who We’re Looking For**Our Packaging Specialists support the regional Sales Territory Representatives and Regional Sales Managers of a defined region and will be responsible for working together to continue to drive sales, growth, and gross profit of our packaging equipment in the assigned region. International travel is possible depending on event schedules, supplier training, relationship building, customer visits, and career growth. We are seeking aggressive, enthusiastic and determined professionals who can professionally present our packaging solutions to new and existing customers.**What You’ll Do*** Provide the Reiser sales team with technical support on packaging machines.* Support and communicate with sales team on all packaging calls with customers.* Professionally represent our products to new and existing customers.* Continually build pipelines through cold-calling, networking, and maintaining positive relationships; internally and externally.* Share best sales practices with team and company.* Be actively involved with sales industry associations and attend relevant packaging trade shows.* Ensure technical documentation and reports are accurate and are received on time.* Help to facilitate quotations, product samples, and deliveries.* Maintain a strong working knowledge of each packaging machine and their application in the marketplace.* Track sales of packaging equipment in the assigned territory, growth, and market penetration.* Train new sales personnel in packaging and what markets each product is best suited for.* Work with the Reiser Service Team on machine installations.* Attending national and regional sales meetings and packaging trade shows.## Qualifications**What You Bring*** Direct experience selling or providing technical support of packaging equipment or products (preferably in the meat/food/cheese industries).* Strong knowledge of Overwrap, Thermoform, Lid Seal and Modified Atmosphere Packaging Applications.* Understands importance of selling equipment with the added service component and working closely with service team.* Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task.* Comfortable communicating with people on the shop floor to presidents of companies.* Ability to travel overnight is roughly 70-80% regionally based.* Undergraduate degree preferred but not required.* May reside anywhere in the greater territory, ideally within an hour radius of a major airport.**Why Reiser?**Joining Reiser means more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to be part of a company that values relationships, encourages team members to reach their potential, and is committed to ongoing success.
