Position: Optometrist
Location: Winterhaven, California
Facility: Fort Yuma Health Care Center
Pay: $120/hr + per diem
Anticipated Start: November 2, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, final schedule to be confirmed
Vision Quest Solutions is recruiting an Optometrist to support Fort Yuma Health Care Center in Winterhaven, California, with an anticipated start date of November 2, 2026.
The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye examinations and primary eye care, diagnose and treat ocular conditions, prescribe corrective lenses and medications within clinical privileges, coordinate specialty referrals, and complete patient documentation.
Candidates interested in Fort Yuma, Hopi, or both locations are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:JOB REQUIREMENTS• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Current, active professional optometry license
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to complete IHS credentialing and onboarding requirements
