As part of our team, you'll enjoy a range of exciting benefits and opportunities:Fixed Starting Rate: $20.50/hrSchedules: Full-time shift (All persons in this position should be prepared to work some weekend shifts and holidays.)Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental Insurance (for FT employees), Supplemental Insurance, Life Insurance, and more!Retirement Savings: 401(k) with up to a 3% employer matchPaid Time Off that increases with tenure; Including PTO Donation optionsEmployee Perks: National Brand Discounts, Employee Referral Program, and access to Tapcheck (get 50% of your pay before payday)Growth & Development: Access to career growth opportunities, paid training, and mentorshipMileage Reimbursement for travelPaid Training and Orientation: Training provided to ensure you're equipped to handle challenging behaviors.Job DescriptionCoordinate services related to finances, activities, healthcare, nutrition, household management, and educational/vocational programs.Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate program coverage.Assist the supervisor in maintaining consistency in programming, individual supports, and team communication.Provide guidance, coaching, and support to staff and support team members.Perform direct support duties during assigned shifts, including personal cares, meal preparation, transportation, and other activities of daily living.Promote person-centered supports that foster independence, choice, dignity, and positive outcomes.Assist with household management and help maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained home environment, including general housekeeping and upkeep tasks.Communicate program, household, medical, behavioral, and staffing needs to supervisors.QualificationsRequired (Must-Have)High school diploma or GED.Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field.Must be at least 18 years of age.Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, squat, and provide direct support for extended periods.Ability to safely transfer, reposition, and assist individuals in accordance with established safety guidelines.Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and/or assist with lifting up to 50 pounds.Skills & AbilitiesPrior experience in residential services preferred.Strong organizational, decision-making, communication, and time management skills.Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to document services, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members.Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and professionalism.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team.Ability to support individuals using a person-centered approach that promotes dignity, independence, and choice.If you're passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you!
