The successful candidate must have senior-level analysis with involvement in critical and complex programs and projects. The ability to function independently, manage and prioritize multiple work assignments in an effective manner. This position will serve as the lead analyst for cross-functional activities and programs of a team that will provide support of consistency in key areas such as but not be limited to, providing policy support and program administration, assisting with researching, developing, writing, and editing complex reports, coordinating budget preparation, preparing financial forecasts, processing financial transactions, A/P and payroll functions, monitor work completion of staff, and serve as departmental representation with intra-departmental committees. This position is considered Essential, which means that the incumbent is required to work when the City is closed due to public emergencies, critical or hazardous conditions, or inclement weather. Duties include but are not limited to Managing and facilitating communications with Divisions that report to the Director of General Services and other City offices Determines program/project needs; creates, coordinates, manages, oversees, and monitors programs/projects Manages and reviews records, reports, data, and other documentation; provides analysis on complex subjects; presents information; makes recommendations and decisions Formulating budgets for assigned program or operational functions Prepares timeline and implementation steps for the execution of programs Monitoring work assignments, by providing instructions and trainings as needed Serving on various divisional and departmental committees and task forces, to provide and obtain critical information Performing other related duties as assigned Qualifications, Special Certifications And Licenses MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, or field related to assignment Five (5) years of journey-level professional experience in area related to assignment, such as policy interpretation, employee relations, position control, data analyzation, program/project management or management analysis An equivalent combination of training and experience (as approved by the department) may be used to meet the minimum qualifications of the classification LICENSING, CERTIFICATIONS, And/or OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS None Preferred Qualification A master’s degree in business or public administration is preferred.
