Dietary Aide

Dietary Aide Join our team at Santa Clarita Post-Acute, a leading skilled nursing facility in Newhall! We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Dietary Aide , you will be responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This is a full-time position, with flexible hours and some weekends required. Your hard work and dedication will be rewarded with a competitive rate of $18-$23 per hour. Responsibilities: Assist with meal preparation and cooking Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Cook or Dietary Manager Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, Food Handlers Certification Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds At Santa Clarita Post-Acute, we are committed to providing a continuum of care that bridges the gap between hospital and home.
