We are looking for a Line Cook with remarkable hard skills and engaging people skills. The right person for this job should be able to multitask. Our restaurant prides itself in providing excellent service, great food, and a clean restaurant. To help our restaurant provide a pleasurable dining experience the following responsibilities along with attentiveness, patience and a positive attitude are required. Responsibilities of a Line Cook:
- Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen.
- Preparing workstations for cooking.
- Preparing and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Checking the quality of the ingredients for freshness and best used by dates.
- Preparing cooking ingredients using various techniques
- Cooking food using various culinary techniques.
- Arranging food and ensuring appealing presentations
- Manage food storage, stock, and ingredient orders.
- Must have prior experience as a line cook.
- Must be skilled in operating kitchen equipment.
- Must be skilled in various cooking techniques.
- Must know and follow sanitation procedures.
- Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
- Mush showcase great organizational skills.
- Must be able to multitask and act quickly
- Must be able to follow all SOP's of IHOP.
- Must have an active Food Handler's Card.
