School-Based Physical Therapist Opportunity

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity impacting students across multiple schools in a vibrant K-12 district in the vicinity of Paterson, NJ. This full-time position begins September 4, 2026, and runs through June 25, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 35 hours (8:30AM3:15PM). You will provide essential school-based physical therapy services district-wide, supporting children and adolescents at various developmental stages.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Hold a current New Jersey physical therapy license
• Experience providing physical therapy services in school settings (K-12 preferred)
• Able to complete NJ prerequisites: recent TB test, physical exam, and fingerprinting (both agency and district required)
• Comfortable with Zoom for interviews and virtual meetings
• Capacity and flexibility to rotate between multiple school locations as needed

Your Role Will Include:

• Delivering tailored physical therapy interventions to students from kindergarten through high school
• Conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and family members
• Participating in district-wide team meetings, including IEPs and multidisciplinary discussions
• Providing consultation and training to staff to support students' physical accessibility and developmental progress
• Maintaining organized and timely documentation of all therapy services as required by district policy
