Job Overview A law firm seeks a Mid-Level M&A Associate to join its Transactions Practice Group in Washington, DC. The role involves handling U.S. and cross-border middle market M&A transactions, with a focus on private equity. The ideal candidate will work directly with partners, senior associates, and clients in a collaborative environment. Duties Oversee complex corporate M&A transactions with limited supervision. Collaborate with partners and senior associates on client matters. Engage in business development activities. Draft and review transaction documents. Requirements 4-6 years of relevant M&A experience. Experience with private equity transactions preferred. Strong drafting and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic. JD from an ABA accredited law school. Active member in good standing of the Bar where admitted. Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the office is located required.
